By adopting a political communication perspective, this article describes the Italian electoral campaign of 2022. First, we reconstruct coalition formation phase and discuss issues at center campaign. Second, describe communicative macro-frames heart strategies actors how these are declined to on more specific issues. Third, delve into hybrid politicians. To do so, integrate analysis legacy media, showing their enduring centrality, that social media. In conclusion, remark 2022 election was marked by many novelties, such as unusual national summer campaign, massive use Instagram, introduction Tik Tok in parties’ strategies. At same time, elements continuity were present, leaders’ reliance traditional media high instability forcing system intense hurried campaigns.
